You can attach up to 3 files. Please attach the following:
  • an expanded parsfile for the run in question
  • any Simulink models being used
  • a screenshot of any error messages received.
NOTE: To create the Expanded Parsfile,
Go to the run of interest while viewing the Run Control screen.
Use the File menu item Export Expanded Parsfile... to create the file.

The reason we ask for an Expanded Parsfile and any Simulink models is so that we can duplicate your problem. Once your issue is solved, we delete all data.

What Is a Key ID?

Your Key ID is used by Mechanical Simulation to determine your license type and maintenance status.  You will be asked for the Key ID when logging into the Users section of the website or when requesting technical support.

Dongle Keys

Your KEY ID is printed on the dongle.

From the browser (carsim.exe, bikesime.exe, or trucksim.exe) use the Tools->License Settings menu item to bring up a window showing your Key ID and other information.
