Tom Gillespie Heads to China

Mechanical Simulation’s Director of Product Planning, Tom Gillespie, has been invited to deliver a keynote speech at the 2012 International Conference on Advanced Vehicle Technologies and Integration in Changchun, China on July 16-18, 2012. The conference brings together academic and industrial professionals from all over the world to explore and exchange new concepts and ideas aiming for safer personal mobility and sustainability.

Dr. Gillespie’s keynote presentation on July 17 will address the topic of “Using Simulation for certifying Regulatory Compliance,” focusing on the issue of Electronic Stability Control requirements. On July 18 he will participate on a panel, Vehicle and Chassis Integration Technologies, contributing a presentation entitled “A Historical Perspective on the Challenges of the Automotive Electronics Revolution.”

Following the conference he will visit several automotive companies to discuss simulation technology and then deliver a 3-day course in vehicle dynamics to automotive engineers in Shanghai.
