Student Competition Team Licenses
Applied Intuition is a proud SAE Supplier Sponsor and is dedicated to helping the automotive industry's future engineers. Through our Student Competition Team Sponsorship program, university teams competing in events such as Formula SAE, Baja SAE, and other recognized competitions can receive special licenses for CarSim and SuspensionSim or BikeSim and SuspensionSim to help design, develop, and test their vehicles.
Eligibility
To qualify for our sponsorship program:
- You must be a member of an active university or college student competition team.
- You must apply with a valid university email address (such as .edu).
- Your team must be participating in a recognized student engineering competition.
- You must provide all of the information requested in the application form.
- You must place Applied Intuition stickers on both sides of the competition vehicle (space permitting).
- You must list Applied Intuition as a sponsor on your team's website, social media pages, and any other public facing materials (such as banners).
How to Apply
- Create your student account — Visit accounts.carsim.com/competition/register and create a free account. You must use a valid university email address. No Key ID is required.
- Verify your email and log in — Click the confirmation link in your verification email, then log in to your account.
- Submit your application — Once logged in, go to the Support menu and click Student Competition License, or use this link. Fill in all required information, including your university name, team name, competition name, and faculty advisor details.
- Await approval — Your application will be reviewed by Applied Intuition. You should expect to hear back within 5 business days if you have provided the required information.
- Receive your licenses — Once approved, a zipped package containing your license files will be emailed to both your student address and your faculty advisor. Your license keys are automatically linked to your portal account.
