Introducing: The All-New VehicleSim

& VehicleSim Classic 2026.2 Release

Today we're excited to introduce the all-new VehicleSim application – built into the web browser and part of the Applied Development Platform (ADP). Here's everything you need to know:

  • The Windows GUI, fondly renamed VS Classic, is not going away
    • VS Classic will be moving to a yearly release cadence.
    • VS Classic 2026.2 is now available to download on carsim.com. This will be the last release for 2026. The next release will be 2027.0.
  • VehicleSim will follow a monthly release cadence
    • This allows us to deliver features faster to our users.
    • VehicleSim is now available with ADP 1.73 on home.applied.co! Please reach out to your Applied Intuition representative for more information.
  • VehicleSim will be available with a User-Fixed (Named) license.
    • This license will give you access to VehicleSim and VS Classic. More details below.

Let's highlight some of the features in VehicleSim!

OS Agnostic Web Interface

The new interface runs in Chrome on Windows, Linux and Mac. The parameter-driven workflow is the same – Run Control, Blue Links, Yellow Fields – but the application lives in your browser instead of a native Windows executable. Access your simulations even if you are away from your primary machine.

Single Sign-On

Use your organization's SSO to access VehicleSim downloads, help documentation and explore other tools available in the Applied Development Platform.

Parameter Sweep

Sweep over vehicle and procedure parameters in the new Tools tab. Perform detailed analysis with the optional Validation Toolset.

Agentic Assist

The agent can help you navigate your database, make dataset changes, compare datasets and more!

Plots and VS Visualizer

Plots now have a new look and Layouts help you quickly access frequently used plots. VSV is also available!

And more – Updated Encryption, Cloud Executions!

Named User License

VehicleSim now offers Named User licenses alongside concurrent licenses. A Named User license is assigned to one person, not shared across a pool.

  • Guaranteed access – No waiting on open seats. Power users get always-on access with zero workflow interruptions.
  • Work from anywhere – Log in with your own credentials from any device: laptop, desktop, or remote workstation.
  • Easier admin – Each license ties to a unique ID, so tracking, auditing, and compliance are simpler.
  • Lower cost – Named licenses cost less, giving small teams and large orgs alike predictable, easy-to-forecast spend.

Please contact your Applied Intuition representative for more information.

We are immensely grateful for your continued support of VehicleSim
