Web Seminar Tomorrow: CarSim, TruckSim, and BikeSim 2017: ADAS Range and Detection Sensors

Mechanical Simulation is continuing our series of web seminars designed to discuss focused solutions to a variety of vehicle dynamics simulation challenges. These online seminars are the perfect opportunity to learn more about our software from the convenience of your own location. You can watch as our staff demonstrate various features of the software and respond to your questions.

Please join us tomorrow, Wednesday, April 19 at 10:00 am EDT for our CarSim, TruckSim, and BikeSim 2017: ADAS Range and Detection Sensors web seminar.

In support of CarSim, TruckSim, and BikeSim usage for ADAS applications, the 2017 releases of CarSim, TruckSim, and BikeSim include many new ADAS examples demonstrating such capabilities as:

  • Mcity proving ground for ADAS research
  • Camera Sensors with image buffers and a Simulink interface
  • GUI setup for HUD and ADAS alerts
  • Examples of Euro NCAP-type testing
  • Improved symbol stack options to better support traffic vehicle definitions
  • Recycling option for moving objects has been extended to work when the object is on a different path than the ego vehicle

We will also introduce some of the new capabilities regarding Camera Sensors and Road Building; dedicated WebEx sessions for these topics will be scheduled separately.

You can view the full list of upcoming web seminars on our website.

Please visit our WebEx page to sign up.

We look forward to you joining us!

CarSim Plugin for Unreal

Mechanical Simulation is pleased to announce that the CarSim Vehicle Dynamics plugin is now available for download on Epic Games’ Unreal Marketplace. CarSim users with a valid CarSim 2017 license can run the math model in an Unreal environment. The vehicle drives on Unreal terrain using Logitech steering system. Multiple math models can run simultaneously in a single environment as long as the CarSim license supports the number of vehicles in the run.
