CarSim, TruckSim, BikeSim, and SuspensionSim version 2022.0 Released

ANN ARBOR, Mich., January 11, 2022 – Mechanical Simulation Corporation is proud to announce the release of the 2022.0 versions of its VehicleSim® software products: CarSim®, TruckSim®, BikeSim® and the suspension simulation tool SuspensionSim®.

As Mechanical Simulation Corporation continues celebrating its 25th year, it is easy to observe that the company’s vehicle dynamics software has helped to change how the industry prototyped, designed and tested vehicles as CarSim, TruckSim, and BikeSim became familiar names in the industry. The company’s commitment to vehicle dynamics simulation leadership has never wavered.

Part of the company’s success has been its ability to add features and simulation capabilities supporting development of the latest technologies and trends. This release adds more hybrid and electric powertrain configurations, an option for putting a powertrain on a trailing unit, more options for trailer hitch joints and other improvements in the VS Math Models. As with all releases, there are also important updates to the GUI Browser, VS Visualizer and support of third-party software.

The new features in VehicleSim 2022.0 improve the experience for engineers developing Autonomous Driving (AD), Advance Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), vehicle electrification, vehicle dynamics, multi-vehicle simulations and High-Performance Computing (HPC) applications.

Mechanical Simulation Corporation provides car, truck, and motorcycle simulation software to more than 200 OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, hundreds of universities and government research groups and the software is embedded in hundreds of driving simulators.

The company looks forward to celebrating its silver anniversary with its customers, colleagues, family and friends; and continuing to serve the community that made it what it is today.
